Ugh!! Screw the 39th game and screw this stupid idea!!! If non-English people want to see quality football being played, support your local club so they can purchase quality footballers. Or travel to England. But I hate this overseas nonsense.

Turn the Club World Cup into more of a global tournament. That would solve things.

Isn't this just a watered down version of the original game 39 proposals?

They would be nothing more than glorified pre-season or friendly games as there would be no real prestige attached to them.

I also agree with the commens above that many of the stars that fans would want to see would likely be missing as clubs would not want to risk them in these games.

i'm from asia and would welcome big teams coming over to play in this part of the world. however, we all know that the current schedule for top flight english teams is already extremely packed, which causes fatigue amongst many players. another tournament in pre-seaon will only be either taken lightly or be an avenue for the youth players to shine in.

I'm behind the idea of some real competition to be played overseas. I for one will not pay the huge price to see a meaningless pre-season by a Prem side on summer tour.

I have advocated a event such as the League Cup being moved to an overseas location but really would just like to see the 39th game. So, I'm all for an effort to play a game in the US that means something!
