2010 world cup Where To Find Kazahkstan v England On U.S. TV

Today’s important World Cup qualifier between Kazahkstan and England kicks off at 11am ET on Setanta Premium in the United States. You can either watch the match in select pubs nationwide that carry the Setanta pub channel (you may need to pay an admission charge), or you can watch it via pay-per-view through our local cable or satellite provider for $24.95.

Here are the other World Cup qualifying matches on U.S. TV today [Saturday, June 6, 2009) (all times eastern):

  • Azerbaijan v Wales, 11am, Setanta Sports
  • Qatar v Australia, Noon, Fox Soccer Channel
  • Bulgaria v Ireland, 1:30pm, Setanta Premium/PPV
  • Croatia v Ukraine, 2:15pm, Setanta Premium/PPV
  • Sweden v Denmark, 1:55pm, Setanta Sports
  • Serbia v Austria, 2:30pm, Fox Soccer Channel
  • Italy v Northern Ireland, 2:40pm, GolTV
  • Uruguay v Brazil, 3pm, Setanta Premium
  • Macedonia v Norway, 4:30pm, Fox Soccer Channel
  • Argentina v Colombia, 5pm, Setanta Premium
  • Paraguay v Chile, 6:50pm, Setanta Premium
  • USA v Honduras, 8:30pm, ESPN
  • Iceland v Netherlands, 8:30pm [tape delay], Setanta Sports

And on Sunday, June 7, 2009:

  • Peru v Ecuador, 4:30pm, Setanta Premium

For me, it’s going to be a busy day with the family so I’ll end up recording most of these matches to watch later (those that aren’t on PPV/Setanta Premium). This will be the last big hurrah for European football fans before the summer officially begins, so you may want to make the most of it! Since I’m Welsh, the one I’m keeping my eyes on the most is Azerbaijan against Wales to see how John Toshack’s youngsters do. But there are plenty of other interesting matches in store today including a depleted England squad away to Kazahkstan.

It boggles my mind that there is a market for an England game at $25 dollars against that sort of opposition.

The game will be rubbish – whether it’s a walkover, a labored 1-0 win, or an embarrassing draw or defeat.

Good games are competitive games between teams playing good football. By definition, this cannot happen between England and Kazakhstan. If England play well, it will not be competitive.

absolutely bonkers game in San Salvador. El Salvador over Mexico 2-1, and the crowd goes wild, invading the pitch. A late handball call, justified, sends Sven’s former charges down in flames. Bizarre to think that Mexico may miss its first Cup in 20 years.

The F.A really needs to re-think their distribution rights in North America. $25 to watch a team that failed to qualify for the 2008 Euros against a country that didn’t exist 20 years ago, yeah right.

I agree…a new update on sello tanta sports would help
Seems that they have changed their original pricing structure and no longer allow yearly subscribers access to all PPV games (Bait and Switch!)

I also signed up for Setanta-i for a year to watch the PPV games, and they want 9.95

I have sent Setanta two emails, and still no reponse.

If I don’t get a reply within 24 hours I will be contacting the Better Business Bureau.

thank gawd i didn’t pay for the yearly…..but the 9.95 for the game was well worth it compared to the 24.95 rip off with my local cable provider. I don’t think i’ll pay for the andorra game….i’ll just follow on gamecast at work and watch it on the reply later…..
